Background
In order to address the many requests for financial assistance
we receive from coalition members around the world marking the World Day
and participating in the creation of a culture of prevention of child
abuse, WWSF decided to transform its World Fund for the Dignity of Children
into an annual Prize for Prevention of Child Abuse Activities.
Mission
Awarding, while considering the context of different
countries and communities, pertinent activities and significant events
aiming the prevention of child abuse; encouraging ongoing efforts
by organizations to develop and increase prevention measures; catalysing
new energies.
