Nous avons le plaisir de vous informer que le Prix WWSF pour la créativité des femmes en milieu rural 2010 a été présenté à la lauréate Pratibha Bukkawar Rajesh par l’Honorable Consul Général de Suisse à Bombay au consulat Suisse le 15 Octobre en présence de son Député et de la famille de Pratibha ainsi qu’avec nos collègues et des personnes des médias. Le gouvernement de la chaîne de TV indienne Doordarshan s’est entretenu avec le Consul Général Suisse, M. Nievergelt et Pratiha, interview qui a été diffusé le même jour dans tout le pays. Pratibha Rajesh Bukkawar a également été invitée pour un débat télévisé en direct de 15 minutes le même jour...“

Je n'ai pas de mots pour exprimer ma profonde gratitude aux organisateurs de la WWSF qui ont retenu ma candidature pour ce formidable prix en me choisissant comme l’une des 11 lauréates en 2010. Cela m’a certainement inspirée à continuer mon travail et à entreprendre plus de choses pour les femmes rurales. J’aimerais pouvoir amener ce projet dans d’autres régions de l’Inde.“

Je voudrais vous présenter quelques photos de la remise du prix de Nuansy qui a eu lieu au Laos, à l'Office des Gouverneurs dans la province de Sayaboury. Le communiqué de presse a été publié dans le journal Vientiane Times, et j'ai mis l'annonce des lauréates sur l'écran d'information au siège de la GTZ à Eschborn / Francfort pendant plusieurs jours. I received lots of congratulations from all of my colleagues, friends, well wishers, relatives from in and out of the country. It has really motivated and encouraged me to do more for the people of the rural community. The WWSF certificate will be delivered to me at a meeting of the Rotary International. I feel proud of it and assure that I will continue to do the same in a more effective manner. I am planning to donate the award amount to the Ornamental Fish Farmer's Society of the rural people of Kumbalam panchayat so that they will be motivated and benefited. It will be a seed money for their capital investment...“

Since her English is not so good, we received a message from the World Neighbors organisation that an award ceremony with over 500 farmers had been organized by the West Timor Farmers Union (male and female), icluding the media and government representatives. All honored the Laureate for her community work to develop new agricultural techniques and women’s initiatives.
