Merci Kiyapyap - KENYA
The Bio Vision Foundation who transmitted the WWSF certificate, badge and prize money honored laureate Merci Kiyapyap during a big ceremony on 15 October. Merci, distinguished for her outstanding work as a trainer in her community, was thrilled about this acknowledgement and shared her commitment to continue in her vision for development and peace in her country.
Paula Sandoval Eliseño (85 years old) - MEXICO
Laureate Paula Sandoval Eliseño (85 years old) was honored during the National Forum for community development in her country on 15 October. The President of Patronato DIF Nuevo Leon transmitted the WWSF prize money, badge and certificate. The wife of the governor and the Mayor of Montemorelos, Nuevo Leon, joined in the celebration.
Laureate organization “l’Association pour la promotion féminine de Gaoua” (APFG) - BURKINA FASO
The organization celebrated the Prize with a big event on 15 October.
Message from the President: “All APFG members join me to thank you very sincerely for the honor you give us by awarding us this Prize. This recognition honors all rural women in Burkina Faso. We congratulate you for initiating this award, an idea that would need to be invented if it did not exit. Be assured that the prize money will be benefiting rural women. Our award ceremony was beautiful, full of joy and emotions.
The Prize was handed to us by the Governor of South-Western region of Burkina Faso.
